Kakatiya University, Warangal was established in 1976 to fulfil the aspirations of the Telangana people for higher education. The founding of the University was in fact a historic event in the sense that heralded a new era in the realms of higher education of this region. The erstwhile Post-Graduate Centre of Osmania University was upgraded and named Kakatiya University. The development of the University over the years has been gradual but impressive.

The University was accredited with B+ grade by the NAAC in 2002. The University situated in a sprawling area of about 650 acres, has now 24 departments in four colleges on the campus with a network of eleven constituent colleges and 471 affiliated colleges. It has its Post-graduate Colleges at Subedari (Hanamkonda), Nirmal, Karimnagar, Godavarikhani, Khammam and Kothagudem in addtion to University Engineering College at Kothgudem.

How to Apply for VRO Exam ?

    The candidates need to make payment of application fee via E-Seva / Mee-Seva / AP-online centres. Rs. 20 to be paid extra to service providers.
    Payment for the application fee can be done from the date 7 to 27 Dec, 11’ for VRO recruitment.
    The online form of AP VRO recruitment can be presented on or before 29th Dec, 11’.

Educations qualifications & Age limit :

    The candidates should be SSC pass or equivalent by Andhra Pradesh State Board of Secondary Education.
    Age limit- Min age is 18 years & Max age is 35 years.
    Max age for SC / ST candidates is 40 years.

Exam Fees :

    The exam fees for general & other category is Rs. 200.
    The exam fees for SC / ST candidates is Rs. 100.

VRA Jobs Pay Scale :

    The pay scale will be Rs. 3000 with honour and other distinct allowances, which is decided by Government from time to time basis.

Exam Pattern :

    VRA exam pattern includes objective types of questions for 100 marks.
    As per the candidates’ performance in the written test, the selection for AP VRA will be made.

Syllabus :

    60 marks of General Studies (covering rural areas & rural living situations)
    30 marks of Arithmetic expertise
    10 marks of Logical expertise

Exam Date : The exam date is scheduled on 30 Jan, 12’ from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Hall Ticket :

    Only the eligible candidates will download the hall ticket right before written test.
